Refashion Nation’s 2nd #DIY #OOTW

As I mentioned last week, I’m trying something a little different and posting a refashioning tutorial from Monday – Thursday that, when combined, will create a groovy new outfit by Friday (or a DIY gift, fab upcycled room furnishings or decor, etc).

Here’s this week’s delightful DIY look:

Troy’s #NoSew Applique #Refashion

The always gorgeous Troy of Thriftanista in the City shares her no sew method for brightening up a boring top:

“I made an appliqué out of vintage fabric and added it to a standard issue thrift store shell top for a small and colorful change. I love bold colors. The psychedelic print of a too big vintage barkcloth muumuu captivated me so much that stored it in my fabric stash.”
